Mother’s Day Brunch

I wanted to show you all the Mother’s Day brunch we surprised my Mother-In-Law with. Chris and I baked a quiche (tutorial coming soon!) and made fresh squeezed orange juice. It was the perfect morning filled with sunshine and stories.

The tablecloth and napkins are April Cornell from a few seasons ago. They offer classic and feminine linens, that would be the perfect addition to any gathering. The napkin rings were handmade by my Aunt Julie and given to me as a gift. They are one of my favorite things I own, because they are bright, eclectic, and uniquely mine. Since it is Spring, our grocery stores are filled with gorgeous flowers. Instead of picking up a pre-made bouquet, which are typically more expensive, I grabbed a few variations to combine on my own. We also cut a few roses from the backyard (free flowers, yay!).

I hope the next time you have a special occasion, you pull out your favorite linens and glassware to host your own backyard brunch! I promise the person you are celebrating will never forget the beautiful space that you created for them.
